In this tutorial, we will learn to create a logo for a book store

In this tutorial, we will learn to create a logo for a book store. Final
output of this tutorial can be seen below:-

Create a rectangle with Rectangle tool.

Press control+t to transform. Adjust the nodes to have this shape.

Set the foreground color to #89BDEF and background to little darker #6DA1D3
and apply Gradient overlay as shown: -

Draw another rectangle and adjust it to have this shape:-

Again, set the foreground color to #043C6F and background to #588CBE and
apply gradient overlay as shown:-

Draw another rectangle below the shape as shown:-

Apply gradient overlay as shown:-

Set the foreground color to #B4B1E0 and background to #E2EAFF. Draw another
shape as shown and apply gradient overlay:-

Now, group and merge all the layers and add drop shadow to the layer as

Duplicate the book layer for 2 times and arrange the layers as shown:-

Draw an ellipse with ellipse tool behind the books:-

Apply these layer styles in it:-
